Building the Future Together

The Australian Pigeon Council Ltd (APCL) recognises that meaningful community impact is achieved through collaboration, shared vision and strong partnerships.

Every educational program, heritage initiative, community project, museum development, and participation opportunity created by the Australian Pigeon Council is made possible through the support of individuals, families, volunteers, businesses, organisations, educators, sponsors, donors and community partners who share our commitment to preserving pigeon heritage and creating opportunities for future generations.

Together, our partners and supporters help transform ideas into reality and ensure that the remarkable story of pigeons continues to educate, inspire and connect people throughout Australia and beyond.

Why Partnerships Matter

The Australian Pigeon Council believes that strong partnerships create stronger communities.

By working together, organisations and individuals can achieve outcomes that would be difficult to accomplish alone.

Partnerships help us:

• Expand educational opportunities

• Preserve heritage and history

• Develop museum initiatives

• Support community engagement

• Promote inclusion and accessibility

• Encourage participation

• Build volunteer networks

• Create sustainable community projects

• Inspire future generations

Every partnership contributes to a larger vision that benefits people, communities and the preservation of knowledge.

Supporting Education

Many of our educational initiatives rely on partnerships with schools, educators, community organisations, researchers and supporters who recognise the value of learning through experience.

Partnerships help us develop:

By working together, we create meaningful educational experiences that inspire curiosity and lifelong learning.

Supporting Heritage Preservation

The Australian Pigeon Council works with supporters and contributors who help preserve:

• Historical documents

• Photographs

• Memorabilia

• Oral histories

• Museum collections

• Community records

• Educational resources

• Heritage projects

Without the support of dedicated individuals and organisations, much of this valuable history could be lost.

Supporting the Kalbar Community Loft & Pigeon Museum

The development of the Kalbar Community Loft & Pigeon Museum is one of the Australian Pigeon Council's most ambitious projects.

This initiative aims to create:

• A community participation hub

• An educational destination

• A heritage preservation centre

• A museum attraction

• A family friendly learning environment

• A place where people can discover the remarkable world of pigeons

Support from partners and sponsors helps transform this vision into a lasting community asset.

Supporting Thoroughbreds of the Sky

Partners and supporters also play an important role in the development of Thoroughbreds of the Sky (ToTS).

Built on the philosophy that "Participation is the Key," ToTS aims to introduce more people to homing pigeons through education, storytelling, participation, heritage appreciation and community engagement.

Support helps create opportunities for:

• Public participation

• Educational content

• Community awareness

• Digital engagement

• Heritage preservation

• Family involvement

• Volunteer participation

The success of ToTS relies on people and organisations who believe in building a positive future through participation.
